How to Use Machine EDC

Connecting review of EDC or more often called the credit card swipe machine, this time about how to use it.
To use a credit card swipe machines / EDC there are two ways namely, to credit cards that use magnetic tape / magnetic stripe and a credit card that is already using the chip.



For credit cards that use magnetic tape / magnetic stripe by swiping the credit card in the EDC:

    1. EDC machine before being used in the ON condition and the connection line or wireless already mantaff, when EDC Wireless.
    2. Credit card swiped once from top to bottom on the EDC.
    3. After the swiped card data will appear or No credit card on the display screen.
    4. When the credit card numbers match then enter the desired nominal transaction.
    5. Press Enter

When the transaction is successful it will come out a paper receipt that is ready to be signed customer transactions. And if the transaction is not successful then a message appears on the display screen, such as: insufficient funds / limits are not sufficient, decline / rejection, etc..

For credit card that uses a chip / EMV (Europe Mastercard Visa) step is almost the same steps, only.

    1. Insert card on the EDC.
    2. On screen display appears credit card data.
    3. When appropriate credit card number, enter the nominal transaction.
    4. Press Enter.
    5. Remove the credit card.

Note: during the process of chip credit card transactions should not be revoked
